Finnegan Cabin

This cabin is our furthest East Cabin and is done in antiques and has a love seat that turns into a single bed for a 3rd guest.

The Finnegan Cabin is named after a little guy that holds a very special place in our hearts, as he was born here and died here. Finnegan was the grandson of the famous Hemingway and was pure white with a personality that made him very special. He and his buddy, Lamont, who was pure black and a Black Bart son, were born within days of each other in 2005.

Finnegan didn't win but a handful of ribbons because we did not enter him in many shows so to keep his value high and avoid a rogue judge who might not judge him fairly. But, in the few shows he was shown, his fine white blanket always got him a blue ribbon. His prized pelt and spirit are housed in this cottage.

Some guests have reported that Finnegan's ghost can be seen prancing the pastures late at night humming an Irish tune.

The cabin has all the items as our other cabins, but it is graced by the charm of our dear Finnegan!

The Finnegan Cabin includes DISH Network TV with DVD (free loaner movies available from our library), refrigerator, and microwave.

Want to use your laptop? Of course, you do! Free Wi-Fi available 24/7.
